is hey maeve jewelry water resistant?

yes. hey maeve jewelry is crafted with 18k gold plating and is water and tarnish resistant. pieces are safe to wear during workouts, swimming, and occasional water exposure.

however, to maintain the longevity of the plating, hey maeve does not recommend wearing jewelry in the shower daily, as frequent exposure to soaps and hot water may cause the plating to wear faster. avoid spraying sunscreen or perfume directly onto your jewelry.

how should i care for my jewelry?

hey maeve jewelry is low maintenance. after swimming in the ocean, rinsing your jewelry with tap water before storing can help prevent salt buildup on the plating. while not required, this step may help extend the life of your pieces. to keep jewelry looking its best, gently polish with a microfiber cloth after wear.

your order ships from our warehouse within 24 hours of being placed, monday through friday. we don't ship on sundays or holidays. we're small, intentional, and we actually pack your order ourselves. just a small business that actually cares about what it sends you.

Returns for U.S. Domestic Orders:
- Available through USPS.
- Store Credit Only: Refunds are issued as store credit.
- Return Window: Items must be received within 14 days of delivery.

Return Process:
- Cost Deduction: Return label cost is deducted from the store credit.
